Internships
|
We offer internships both in translation and testing of videogames.
Responsibilities:
Tester Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely in a bug database. Run test suites, verify fixes, spot grammar and language mistakes in your language. Follow the documented processes at all stages of the testing process. Verify that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly. Ensure that correct terminology is used. Translator Translate, review, and proofread texts in your mother tongue. Support the testing team. Create glossaries, manage terminology, and create guidelines. Perform Quality Assurance tasks. Be responsible for all linguistic aspects in support of our customers, and help them achieve the best possible quality products.
Requirements:
- Excellent spelling and grammar in your mother tongue.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Must be motivated and able to remain focused until project completion.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, both in English and your mother tongue.
- The ability to write accurate, unambiguous, and concise documentation in English.
- Good PC Knowledge & proficient knowledge of MS Office suite of products is essential.
- Must be a team worker.
What to expect:
We don’t believe in only asking interns to prepare coffee and make photocopies. You will be assigned a tutor and be properly trained on actual projects. When requested, we will cooperate with your university to prepare a training program and your final papers. You will be working in a multicultural, dynamic environment and be fully integrated in a team/project, doing your part, just like a “standard” employee.
What we offer:
As a general rule, internships are unpaid, but we offer the following:
- Return Flight to Ireland
- Accommodation in a company house
- Vouchers for Lunch in the company canteen (Dublin hub only)
Duration of Internship:
This can be discussed on a case-by-case basis but as a general rule we do not accept interships with a duration of less than 3 months.

Localization Testers
| Our ideal candidates are already experienced in localization testing and acquainted with software testing procedures and production cycles.
Pre-requisites: native speakers, passionate gamers, and very good level of English. Previous experience in localization testing and specialization in one particular field (MMO, linguistic skills, simulation games, musician) are all added values taken in great consideration during the selections process.
Tester responsibilities in Keywords

Functional Testers
The Functional QA tester is is responsible for testing, identifying, recording, and suggesting fixes to potential bugs in video game programs relating to functionality and compliance issues.
Functional Tester responsibilities:
- Execution of Functionality and/or Compliance QA test cases.
- Reporting Functionality and/or Compliance bugs and informing superiors of issues that may affect project timelines.
- Actively seeking to improve departmental processes via feedback to superiors, including checklist updates and tool suggestions/improvements.
- Performing Test Case Creation when necessary.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of First Party Submission Requirements.
- Achieve targets set for test schedules and quality.
Requirements:
- High level fluency in English and preferably French.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive attitude towards all aspects of work.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to adapt to variable tasks while maintaining top quality time management.
- Ensures accurate information is present in all bug databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of First Party Submission Requirements (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo).
- Experience with First Party Tools, such as Xbox 360 Neighborhood, Target Manager, etc.
- Fantastic ability to notice errors in their own work.
- Experience of Software Localization in a QA Tester role a definite advantage
- University Degree, equivalent qualification and/or relevant experience in related field an advantage

Translators
Would you like to join our pool of freelance translators? Our ideal candidates are already experienced in localization and already acquainted in particular with software localization production cycles.
All our freelance translators meet three fundamental pre-requisites: they are native speakers, passionate gamers, and have localization experience (not necessarily in the videogame industry). When sending your application, please make sure to list any specialization in particular fields (MMO, sport, simulation games, music) or any hobby. These are all added values taken in great consideration for project assignments. As part of our selection procedure, shortlisted candidates will be asked to carry out a translation test.
